Real estate photography and video in Vancouver

Plenty of media companies list Vancouver first regardless of where they actually work. We shoot it every month, across the east side, the west side and downtown, and we would rather show the work than claim the postcode. A Vancouver listing is its own discipline: the properties are older, the lots are tighter, and a frontage frequently has to be made from a position the street does not obviously offer.

What we do bring is that we shoot here regularly and know the practical constraints: loading and parking on the west side, the elevator booking that a downtown tower will require, and the fact that a downtown twilight window is shorter than one in the valley because of the buildings.

Downtown towers almost always require an elevator booking, and buildings vary enormously in how much notice they want. Loading on the west side is frequently the limiting factor on how much equipment comes in. And a downtown twilight window is materially shorter than a valley one, because the buildings take the light before the sky does.

None of that is dramatic and all of it decides whether a shoot runs on schedule. We ask about it at booking, which is why our Vancouver days tend to hold their timings.
