Setting is what sells here
Port Moody is small, and its appeal is unusually specific: the inlet, the trails, and a genuinely walkable core around Suter Brook and Klahanie. Buyers choosing here are largely choosing the setting, and a media package that treats the property as an isolated object misses most of the argument.
That changes what belongs in the exterior set. The water, the treeline and the distance to the shops are part of what is being bought, and an aerial frame or two that establishes where the building sits does more for a Klahanie listing than another interior would.
The stock
Most of what we shoot here is townhome and condo supply in the two newer neighbourhoods, with a smaller amount of older single family stock on the slopes above. The newer units are well finished and photograph cleanly; the win is accurate interiors, a clear plan, and exteriors that place the home in its surroundings rather than cropping them out.
It is roughly thirty five minutes west on the Lougheed, which makes it a comfortable half-day booking rather than a full one.
What we usually recommend
A full photo set, a 2D floor plan and a vertical cut covers most Port Moody listings well. The plan matters in the newer complexes because a lot of the stock is arranged over two or three levels on a small footprint, which photographs cannot convey.
Where a unit genuinely has an inlet outlook, it is worth timing the shoot for it rather than taking whatever hour is free. That is a short conversation at booking and it changes the result more than any equipment decision would.
