Real estate photography in Cloverdale, Surrey

Cloverdale is the part of Surrey that still reads as its own town. The blocks around 176th and the fairgrounds have a historic main street, and the housing immediately around them is older and has character that the rest of Surrey largely does not. Then a few streets out it becomes new family subdivision, and the two are almost different products.

For the older stock the neighbourhood belongs in the set — the street, the walk to the centre, what the block looks like — because that is a genuine part of what a buyer is choosing. For the newer housing the questions are the ordinary ones about space and layout, and a plan answers them faster than photographs do.

The older Cloverdale houses often carry original detail — porches, trim, glazing — that rewards a few close frames alongside the wide shots, and that detail is much of what separates them from anything newer nearby.

The newer subdivisions have the opposite problem, which is that a double garage takes up most of the frontage. On those the entry and the rear elevation usually do more for the listing than a straight-on street shot, and an elevated frame keeps the garage from dominating the first photograph a buyer sees.
