Real estate photography in Dewdney, Mission

Dewdney is the flats east of Mission along the north bank of the Fraser — farmland, dyked river frontage and acreage with long approaches. Very little of what sells here is judged primarily on its kitchen. The land, the access, the outbuildings and the river are what the buyer is weighing.

So the aerial is not an upgrade here, it is the set. Boundaries and how the ground lies cannot be photographed from the driveway, and a gallery that opens on interiors has answered the second question before the first.

Fog sits on these flats well into the morning through the autumn, later than it does in Mission itself a few kilometres west. It is a real scheduling factor rather than a curiosity: a shoot booked for nine in October can be waiting until eleven for the aerial, and it is better to plan for that than to discover it.

When it does clear, the same flatness that holds the fog gives long uninterrupted sightlines, and an aerial here shows more of a property's context than one over almost any other ground we cover.

The other seasonal factor is the crop. A field in stubble and the same field in full growth are different photographs of the same asset, and where a sale is not urgent it is worth asking which one the listing wants before the date is set.
