Rural, and the parcel is the product
Whonnock is genuinely rural. The listings here are acreage more often than they are houses, and the honest framing is that the land is the primary asset with the dwelling as one feature on it. A media package that inverts that ordering will produce a competent set of interior photographs that answers none of the questions a buyer of a rural parcel is asking.
Those questions are consistent: how much land, where does it run, what is on it, how do you get in, and how much of it is actually usable. Every one of them is an aerial question, and aerial coverage on a Whonnock listing is not an upsell but the core of the job.
What that looks like in practice
We shoot the parcel from height to establish shape and boundaries, the outbuildings individually where they carry value, the access and approach, and then the house as a full interior and exterior set. On working properties we will also cover fencing, water and any secondary dwelling, because those change the price and rarely appear in the photographs.
Whonnock is the least dense part of the city and one of the more straightforward to book, because the properties are spread out and the light is rarely fought over.
Timing and access
Rural properties are more weather dependent than suburban ones, because so much more of the shoot happens outdoors and because a wet approach photographs badly in a way a wet street does not. We build a little more flexibility into Whonnock bookings for that reason.
Access is worth flagging in advance too. Long driveways, gates and shared approaches all affect how a shoot runs, and on a few properties out here the drone launch point needs thinking about before the day rather than on it.
